Had an awful experience with this company and would not recommend Arranged with Nigel for the roofing of my lean to to be completed from April 23 2024. After a year of torrential rain, the lean to experienced quite alot of damp and water coming in. A new polycarbonate roof was to be installed and walls were to be damp proofed Dave was sent to manage the work on site. Initially it all seemed positively on track. My brick walls were cleaned and repointed after much damp in the room During this time, my male neighbour also sought their services for his own roof work and Dave/Nigel organised for the scaffolding to be placed over my lean-to to get my neighbour's roof sorted before my roof could get sorted After my neighbours roof were sorted, whoever they hired to remove the scaffolding not only left a mess of brickwork on my lean-to space and for some reason they took out my washing machine that was in its space in the room and unplugged it as if they were going to do something with it. At this point I have a washing machine out exposed to the rain coming into a roofless room. Had to call Dave nonstop to try and get my washing machine sorted as I was A week goes by and no one turns up to finish the roofing job. I then spend 2 more weeks chasing Dave to find out when he's coming back to sort out the roofing. In that time, it's rained nonstop and all the damp proofing work done is being undone from all the rain coming in. After making several calls to both Nigel and Dave to try and get the job finished, Dave unwilling came to the property to put a temporary roof in place using a felt material. During the week of 15th july 2024 of this being placed as a temporary roof, it started to rain and lots of water started collecting over the felt and the room remains damp from all the moisture that is trapped underneath and above. I was led to believe once again that the work would get completed once there was clear sky, as I was told by Dave that they can't work during the rain, it's. Health and safety hazard We then a reed that on the weekend of 19th July, Dave would message to confirm if he will be able to finish the roof based on the weather on either Sunday or Monday. I had to chase call him during this weekend to try and confirm if he's coming or not on the Sunday or Monday. He managed to call back late Saturday to confirm he will aim for Monday Today it is Monday 22 July 2024 and Dave confirmed that he would be at the property for 10.30am. it is now 3pm and after calling on every hour of the day since 10am, I have reached the peak of disappointment with the level of service. Upon finally arriving after 3pm on Monday 22 July 2024, Dave arrived and we agreed that the brick walls would need an application of lime due to over exposure to moisture. He said this would unfortunately mean that he would have to come back tomorrow morning first thing at 7am to finish the roofing part of the job. It is now Tuesday 23 July 9pm and I have made several calls throughout the day trying to confirm with Dave his arrival time to complete the work and though I was told several times that he's on the motorway and will be there soon, he never showed up. The room is now exposed again to possible rain and it's now been months since promised a completion of the task As of today I have not received any confirmation con irmation from this company of when the work will be completed An absolute waste of time and has led to further damage to my property as I now have a room without a roof. After over a year of torrential rain, this is the last thing I would have expected for trying to fix a leaky roof I would like to further stress that my male neighbour who used their services at the same time that I used it did not experience this level of piss take that I a woman had to experience. I've been patient and courteous throughout and despite all this I've experienced the highest level of unprofessional behaviour I've never come across. Constant piss taking throughout the entire time and due to having my room without a roof I tried my best to be patient to try and get the job finished Absolutely disappointed

Where do I even begin? Us consumers place their trust in businesses, particularly when they claim to be experts in their field and charge significant sums of money for their services. Unfortunately, my experience with Nigel and his company, has been nothing short of disastrous. In November of last year, I contacted Nigel to make my cellar watertight, though not fully tanked, as I wasn’t planning to use the space for living purposes due to the low ceiling. He visited my home, appearing professional with his leather case, taking notes and measurements, and assured me that the job could be completed with a slurry application. Based on his confidence and promises, I agreed to proceed. Three individuals arrived to carry out the work, and I was told it would be dry in a few days. I trusted their expertise, paid the agreed amount without hesitation, and repeatedly asked for an invoice and receipt. Despite several follow-ups, I received nothing. When I finally managed to contact Nigel, he claimed the delay was due to illness and promised to send the invoice and receipt and return to inspect the cellar. Neither of those promises was fulfilled. I continued to checked the cellar, only to find the walls still extremely wet, worse than before. I contacted Nigel again, only to be met with silence. Frustrated, I called in another professional company to assess the situation. They were shocked by the substandard work and informed me that I had been grossly overcharged and scammed. This is not just about the money, although that alone was unjustifiable; it is about the sheer dishonesty, lack of professionalism, and disregard for customer trust. Nigel and his company have exploited my faith in their craftsmanship, and their actions are disgraceful. I am now pursuing legal action to hold them accountable more so because i dont want it to happen to anyone else. In the meantime, I urge anyone considering their services to think twice. This company has no respect for its customers, and their work is a complete travesty. I share my story not just out of frustration but to prevent others from falling victim to the same deception. Avoid this company at all costs.
